This is an art piece I've done in high school. Everything about it describes my design asethetic. I get inspired each time I see it.

Who am I?

My name is Larisa Ocañada. I go to San Francisco State University majoring in Design and Industry in Visual Communications. I'm known for having a watch collection. I'm really into big, masculine looking men's watches. It's not unusual.. actually it's very normal to see me sporting a men's watch. Call me old school, but I find it refreshing when I see other people wear watches, because in this day-in-age, many use their cell phone devices to check the time. Watch out!

From a design standpoint there are many aspects in the world that inspire me. Tribal designs, geometric shapes, architecture, interior design, cooking, art, humor, and even food, all influence my design aesthetic.

However, as an individual, my family inspires me the most. They taught me to always look for the positive in any given situation.

After I finish my undergraduate degree, I hope one day I can go to grad school in the creative. I always wanted to be an entrepreneur, balancing out different businesses of mine. Owning my own SUCCESSFUL studio would be nice. Also, having a greeting card business and a handbag/watch line has always been a dream of mine. .
